Trek to peth fort with thtc in Mumbai
Hi All,
We've arranged a Trek on 27 July 2008 to Kothaligad, popularly known as the Peth fort, allures the trekkers and nature lovers for the beauty of the western ghats around it.
The surroundings are a sight especially in the monsoon when the ghats wear a fresh new look. It was said to be ajinkya or unconquerable as it was never conquered until the Mughal sardars entered the fort in disguise.
Location: Karjat, Raigad
Type : Hill fort
Things to carry :-
1. Extra Clothes
2. food for the day
3. Water bottles (Atleast 1lit.).
4. Anti-dehydrate (limboo pani, glucose powder, electrol)
5. Old News papers
6. Personal medicines
7. Pen knife
8. Extra plastic bags
9. Camera / binoculars (Optional)
10. Torch (Mandatory),Candles, matchboxes
Trek Cost :- 250/-
(Inclusive of All traveling charges from thane, two time breakfast-tea)
Do not carry excessive cash & wear costly ornaments.
Every individual will be responsible for his/her belongings.
Smoking & Consumption of liquor is strictly prohibited.
Advanced registration & payment of full Trek charges to be done on or
before 25th July.
